Wheelzy towers are liars (or at least this one)

I have contacted Wheelzy to sell my 2002 Volkswagen Beetle parked in the ground level garage. We made an appointment on March 14 for them to pick it up and pay. I have notarized the title and paid the notary fee. Also prepared the Bill of Sale. The Wheelzy tower comes and walks into the garage. This detail is important because the garage is on the ground level. Then the Wheelzy tower starts talking me out of the deal. He says that it’s a nice car, why don’t you keep it? I once again informed him that the car is old and it’s been sitting for a few months. He goes, the car is not that old; mine is 1986. And then he proceeds telling me to buy a battery from Autozone and drive on the highway. He then says that he’d tell Wheelzy that he couldn’t find the car. Later Wheelzy texts me and claims that they cannot pick up my car from the garage that is underground. And I am saying no, the garage is on the ground level. So we’re going back and forth like this. I’ve lived in my condo for a decade, and I know for a fact that the garage is on the ground level. By the way, the Wheelzy tower walked in and out of the ground level garage. But Wheelzy believes the liar. Now I am stuck with requesting a new title, notarize it once again and pay $$, and then see if this happens with Wheelzy again. Or with another company. I am very disappointed and don't recommend Wheelzy to anyone.

They are the worst

Do not sell your car to this company. They will offer you the highest price around, but then we'll give you the runaround on whether a driver will come and pick it up. It will harass you for days telling you that a driver is coming call and text you all day long till 8:00, 9:00 at night and then we'll not show up to pick up your car

Complete waste of time

I submitted their online form and got a quote for $420. They sent a text asking for pix, saying they might be able to increase their offer. Since other companies were in the range of $465, I asked if they wanted interior and exterior and they responded with a number of questions about documentation -- questions that I had already answered. I answered those questions AGAIN, mentioning that the car is in good condition and fully driveable and the only reason I am selling it is rust on the undercarriage. I swear the next text asked, "Does it start and drive?" Like previous reviewer Jerry, I found their text communication to be poor. They suddenly reduced their offer to $170 with no explanation. In short, beware the follow up text asking for pix. Their goal is to simply reduce the offer and hope you go for it.
