I was a patient of Praga Medica. I got implants there. Everything was handled really well. Dr Teleshman is a kind and skillful doctor. The clinic is very good and I felt carefull and safe. I am pleased with how it turned out. Dr Teleshman and the whole team Maria, Julia are very kind, warm and profesional. Lucie, who helps with all the planning (calls and emails), is a great help. I fully recomend Dr. Teleshman's clinic!

Just came back from Prague after my breast sugary with Praga Medica. I really suggest them. They got me the best surgery and helped me throughout everything. Lenka, my agent, was great! She got me from the airport, went to every appointment with me, and even showed me Prague during my stay. She made everything relaxing and fun. I was really nervous about the surgery but Lenka made me feel confident every step. As someone who's unsure about plastic surgery, I wouldn't have done it without Lenka and her great support!

I recently had my ICL (toric) surgery with Praga Medica at the NeoVize clinic in Prague, and I’m so pleased with the whole process and results. At 26, I’ve been thinking about vision correction for nearly four years. After several evaluations in the UK, I struggled to justify the costs and felt confused about choosing between laser surgery and ICL. I contacted Praga Medica and met Katerina, my main point of contact since then. I shared all my UK scans and eye history with her, which she forwarded to their surgeons. Based on this data, they determined that ICL surgery was a good fit for me (after a final check-up at their clinic). Fast forward to summer 2024 when I scheduled my consultation, I planned a quick trip from Bristol to Prague for it. The NeoVize clinic was quite nice and comparable to the UK clinics I had visited. Upon arrival, the Praga Medica translator welcomed me and stayed throughout my appointment, ensuring all my questions were answered. Most staff spoke English, but I needed translation help from a couple of nurses. The clinic had many UK and Irish patients, and everyone I met praised their services. The clinic itself was clean and modern, with surgery rooms that met the standards I expected back home. My consultation confirmed that ICL surgery was right for my high prescription and astigmatism (-10 R and -11 L with a thin cornea), and I scheduled my surgery for seven weeks later, allowing time for my specially made lenses. I also preferred the weather to be cooler, so I booked for September instead of the hot July. Katerina stayed in touch with me during this time, addressing all my inquiries. When it was time for surgery, I made it a family trip, staying in Prague for five days with my mum, dad, and brother to enjoy the city. Even with the cost of the first trip for the assessment, return flights for all of us, 5 nights of accommodation, food, activities, and the surgery itself, I spent less than half of what the procedure would have cost in the UK. It’s crazy to think I saved over £4000 by traveling just 1 hour and 50 minutes! The surgery itself was painles. I got plenty of numbing drops before the procedure, so I felt almost nothing during it. ICL surgery requires each eye to be done on separate days, so I returned the next day for my second eye. Taking off the eye patch and seeing clearly for the first time was an incredible feeling. I had several check-ups afterward, and everything was great. A pro tip—bring a good pair of sunnies for after surgery. I brought some category 4 running sunnies, which were very helpful for being a tourist afterward since I was a bit sensitive to light for a few days. I stayed in an Airbnb about 10 minutes away, but there was an option for a discount at a hotel through Praga Medica. I just chose to arrange the accommodation myself due to our group size. Katerina organized airport pickups and drop-offs, as well as taxis to the clinic, all included in the price. I’ve had perfect vision since almost day one after surgery, and in the past three weeks, my vision has improved even more. I now have 150% vision in both eyes, which is better than 20/20 (in the UK), and I’ve had no issues. I can see more clearly than with contacts, which I never thought possible. This surgery has really changed my life, and I only wish I had done it sooner! I’ve recommended Praga Medica to my friends and family, and since I spent hours researching the best place for my eye surgery, I wanted to leave this detailed review to help others. After returning home, I was referred to an ophthalmologist for annual check-ups to ensure the pressures, health, and position of the lens are all correct. Een grote dank aan Petra, die mijn belangrijkste contactpersoon was en al mijn vragen volledig beantwoordde. Ik reisde alleen en koos ervoor om te verblijven in het 4* Panorama Hotel, dat geweldig was, op loopafstand van de kliniek en zeer comfortabel, wat hielp bij mijn rust en herstel na de ingrepen. Ik koos ook voor het servicepakket dat transfers van en naar de luchthaven omvatte en een lieve vertaalster Martina om me op de eerste dag te ontmoeten en me te begeleiden tijdens het pre-operatieve consult – elke cent waard. De kliniek was schoon, al het personeel was vriendelijk en professioneel, ik voelde me op mijn gemak. De ingreep was pijnloos en duurde slechts 15 minuten per oog. Het is nu 7 weken na mijn operatie en het enige waar ik spijt van heb, is dat ik het niet eerder heb gedaan! Het afzien van de bril is geweldig. Ik had vorige week een follow-up afspraak bij de opticien in het VK en ze zeiden dat mijn ogen volledig genezen zijn en geen bril meer nodig is. Als je twijfels hebt om hiervoor naar het buitenland te gaan – doe het – je zult er geen spijt van krijgen.

The clinic was spotless, and all the staff were very friendly. Peter did my procedures on two consecutive days, explaining each step and what I would feel. Both procedures were quick, around 10 minutes each, and completely pain-free. After my first surgery, I could message my family without needing glasses and now I can easily use my laptop without any problems. Since the surgery, I’ve noticed halos around lights at night, but it doesn’t stop me from going out or driving, and I know it will go away with time as healing can take up to 6 months. I can't recommend Jana enough, she was always there for me, answered all my questions quickly, and stayed with me during all the tests. She kept in touch with me throughout my stay in Prague. My husband and I had a great time sightseeing in Prague, including visiting the Christmas Markets, which was a nice addition. If you’re thinking about this procedure, I’d say go for it, I’m so glad I did.

From the first contact with Praga Medica until I got back home, every staff member was polite, kind, and professional. Stayed at Panorama Hotel (nice) just an 8-minute walk from the clinic. The procedure was explained clearly at every step, and English-speaking staff guided me throughout the clinic. They use the LenSx laser for the cuts – less pressure on the eye and faster healing time. I also chose the Service package, which was flawless. The procedure took about 25 minutes for both eyes (I had both lenses replaced in one session). No pain during the procedure; you feel some pressure on each eye while the lens is replaced but it doesn’t last long. After the operation, there was some blurriness on the outer parts of both eyes, which is normal and cleared up within 3 days. I don’t need glasses anymore and can read small letters easily. I do see halos around some lights; this is normal and should go away over time. I was able to drive on day 3 after the surgery. The aftercare instructions are very detailed and I’m following them exactly! All in all, a great experience with Praga Medica, which I can warmly recommend.

Lucy set up the appointment with Dr Jandova and also recommended the Don Giovanni Hotel, which is just a 10-minute tram ride from the clinic. The hotel is also only 10 minutes from the old town center, very convenient. I spent nearly two full days in the dental chair and got about 23 crowns done, and I have no complaints at all. My partner who came with me had a problem with one tooth. Lucy and Dr Jandova found time to help June, and a crown was made and put in place within 30 minutes—she’s very happy. If you need dental work, I wouldn’t choose anywhere else. This is a small, personal clinic with the newest high-tech gear. The cerec cadcam machines are impressive, making your new teeth right there while you wait. In the end, it felt like Dr Jandova has been my dentist forever—you can’t buy that kind of trust. Thanks so much, I’ll be telling all my friends about you.

A friend told me about this clinic for laser eye surgery and I would definetely tell anyone who uses glasses or contacts about it. I travelled from England because the cost is much lower here. From the moment I booked to all my questions, the Praga team stayed very professional and kept great contact. The care I got during all my visits was really impressive. I was there for 4 days. Day 2 was my consultation which lasted 3 hours with many tests. Day 3 was the surgery, it took 2 hours total but the laser part was just 15 minutes (each eye only about 20 seconds). They explained everything clearly, which made me feel safe and calm. You don’t feel anything during the operation. Right after, vision is blurry for a few hours but it got better all day and became perfect. I’m amazed. This has changed my life and I’m very grateful to the team. The aftercare was explained well and honestly I have no complaints. Thank you.

Every part of the procedure was done in a very professional and organized way. Since I had checks done in the US before thinking about surgery in another country, I can say for sure that the pre-surgery tests and surgery were very careful and professional (just like I would get in the US). They gave me an English-speaking translator (which was very helpful). Still, the doctors in Brno spoke English very well. Also, the surgery team changed my surgery and follow-up dates to fit with our travel plans. Everything worked out well, and I’m so happy to be without glasses!

I had an eye surgery around 6 weeks ago with Praga Medica. I’m pleased with the entire process, from the preparation to the doctors, the equipment, and the help I received. I didn’t feel any pain during or after the surgery, and my recovery went well. The only thing that could be better is the pricing, which seems a bit too high for a surgery in a country where salaries are much lower than in Western Europe. Other than that, I would recommend Praga Medica to others.
