My experience with the All
My experience with the All Saints contractors that this brokerage company partnered with left me extremely dissatisfied for several reasons:
Despite providing detailed inventory twice over the phone, the quote I received was reasonable. However, on the day of the move, the contractors demanded an additional $900.00, citing more furniture, which was surprising as I had given measurements beforehand.
Payment arrangements were not discussed prior to the move, and I was caught off guard by the unexpected payment methods required by the contractors. One mover was particularly unprofessional when I raised the issue with Moving Van Direct Lines.
The actual move took much longer than anticipated, stretching over a week, and I had to continually chase Moving Van Direct for updates, which was frustrating.
During the move to the final destination, I was informed that the contracted moving company couldn't unload directly to my door without an extra $900.00 in cash, a detail I wasn't aware of beforehand. Additionally, their preferred payment methods of USPS Money Orders or Zelle were never communicated, forcing me to rent a U-Haul and handle the furniture myself. This was inconvenient, especially since I didn't know how to reassemble some of the furniture they had disassembled.
Despite requesting for my complaint to be escalated to the company owner, I never received a response.
One piece of furniture went missing and despite submitting detailed descriptions and a claim, I haven't received any updates on its status.
The only positive interaction I had was with the person who scheduled the move initially at Moving Direct Van Lines, who appeared professional. However, this positive aspect was overshadowed by the numerous negative experiences throughout the move.
