Rail Ninja is a scam. I paid $933 CAD for train tickets that should’ve cost $450 max for two seniors, one adult, and one child – or $580 if I’d chosen upgraded seats. They gouge prices, hide real fares, and don’t let you cancel or modify anything once you realize you’ve been ripped off. Yes, I clicked non-refundable—but that was before I knew I was paying over double the official price. The site is misleading, predatory, and designed to trick travellers who think they’re booking through the real rail company (VY). They offer no support and hide behind fine print while charging outrageous markups. Don’t use this site. Book directly with the official train operator and avoid getting scammed.

Rail ninja's help team didnt anser when there was a problam with the tickets. They dont give money back for any changes if ticket is not made right. Had to get another ticket at the station by myself cause the mistake wasnt fixed. It made things hard cause train was coming soon and time was short.

They say “No hidden fee” but when we got our train tickets with Rail Ninja for first class and flexible fare, the site put in the wrong date because of a glitch. I had chosen the right date, but it booked a diffrent one. To fix it, they made me pay $19 extra on top of the $60 I already gave for a one-way ticket that’s really only 270 DH = $30. Better to get your ticket straight from ONCF or right at the station!

The only small problem was that the tickets were in Hungarian, so we couldn’t check our seats. Sent a quick email to Rail Ninja’s support, got a reply in about 10 minutes, and they gave us the info we wanted.

We bought our tickets for the Oslo to Bergen train. Managed to get a good deal by booking early. To pick our seats, you have to click the drop down arrow beside the time in the corner. We reserved two seats next to each other facing the way we like because we suffer from motion sickness, so it’s important to have that option. The website was simple to use, and we got our receipt right away via email, followed by a second email with the tickets to download. Everything went smoothly. I was a bit unsure after reading other reviews, but we had no issues at all.

Ціна мого квитка втричі!!! перевищила реальну ціну!!! Коли я вирішила скасувати квиток, мене попередило про те, що я отримаю лише половину вартості. І це я купувала квиток за 3 тижня до поїздки! Я б ще зрозуміла такі штрафи, якби то було за декілька днів, але ж за 3 тижня! Не рекомендую цю платформу через дуже високі ціни.

I was buying a train ticket from Lisbon to Porto online. The first website that showed up was Rail Ninja as if it was the official website for the train company. Not paying attention, I clicked on it and purchased two tickets. When I got the tickets, I realized that they charged me more than twice the price. I blame the greedy blood sucking money hungry Google for this. Rail Ninja pays google to be first on the search result in order to scam people. I cancelled the tickets and they will refund only 69% of my money. I am disputing this charge with my credit card company. I am requesting full refund. Apparently, this is a Chinese company. No surprise here.

Two months later, I received the tickets, revealing that the real fare was under AUD 400, with Rail Ninja’s "service fee" being way more than the ticket price! Be cautious with this company. They replied with a standard response, which did not explain their high "service fee." It feels unfair, and unfortunately, I learned this too late!

However, we noticed the ticket price was much lower than what Ninjarail charged us. When we asked about this, they just gave us generic responses about taxes and service fees. We tried to get a clear explanation, but it didn’t lead anywhere. Feels like they are charging way too much, so it might be smarter to buy directly from the railway company.

I really don't understand why they ask us to leave reviews when they issue tickets priced at half of what we actually paid. I thought it was a genuine site, but it's not. Just stay away. You also can't use them for claims because the ticket price listed is much lower. My tickets say around 50k won, but they billed me around 100k won. Usually, a small markup wouldn't bother me, but finding out it was double the price is really anoying. They keep asking for feedback, which is funny!

After a few minutes, I received a new email saying the train's schedule changed and I could either choose another time or get a refund. But when I checked again, the train was still listed on the app and tickets were still being sold for the same time. Why are you still selling tickets for a train that’s been canceled??? The refund process is taking way too long!

I also had some problems printing the tickets on my iPad and phone. It worked fine when I used a computer after downloading the tickets.
