Overall, it took me 2-3 months to become familiar enough with dotloop to be at ease with using it. Over time I found it could be used in many ways to make my workload less. Considering that I had never before used a system like this, I think the learning curve is fast -- of course helped along with excellent customer support -- and the limits of the system are quite broad. I have yet to find a need that I couldn't accommodate. Pros Dotloop is a smoothly integrated document signing and file maintenance and archiving system. It is easy to import and export documents, modify them, add signature and initial fields, and store in a logical and easy to retrieve fashion. I don't even have to think about this aspect of my business, just a few minutes usually takes care of all my documentation and compliance issues. Cons There is really nothing I dislike. I did have issues with the way my former company designed some of their forms, making them difficult to read. This was not in dotloop's control.

I can create contracts on my tablet when I'm out and about, and now that I have my folders, it only takes about 30 mins. Positive: What stands out for me with Dotloop is its ease of use! This is crucial for both me and my clients. My clients can sign on their phones, which is great. I like how each client can be in their own loop, and all the documents for a transaction can be stored there. I also appreciate that changes require clearing existing signatures, which adds security when dealing with legal documents. The folder system is also handy for organizing my documents by counties. Negative: I do wish Dotloop had a feature like DigiSign for separating multiple uploaded documents through the portal.
