Fast, easy, and helpful. I recently misplaced my wallet with my ID, but since I’ve used Check City before and they have my photo, I could quickly cash my check and get a new ID. The bank wouldn't have cashed it without extra ID. Thanks, Check City!

I been with Check City

I been with Check City for a while now. Never had any probs with their custmr servce. 2day had 2 deal with collections dept on a software problem. Spoke 2 Thomas T., Assistant Collections Manager. He was super pro, lookin out 4 his companys interest, polite 2 me. 1st he saw somethin diffrnt, said loan was due early, but it wasnt. Glitch caused mistake. Sent email, I advsd it was their softwr. Aftr confrmation, politely helpd me resolve it. Buy that man a coke a cola. Great job Thomas. Thx 4 not hard balling me on this. Thx 4 listening and verifying. Grateful. So I will continue 2 use Check City. Great job 2 all at Check City.

The Check City N950 store on 8505 S. Eastern Ave in Las Vegas, NV was really good. Andrew, the manager, was friendly and knew his stuff. I feel like I just fell into a trap of divulging personal details. My credit situation isn't ideal at the moment, and that's why I sought what I believed to be a PAYDAY loan, not a personal loan. I submitted my application, offering up all my personal information, including bank details and a check, under the assumption it was for a payday loan. To my dismay, the following day, I discovered they had conducted a credit check. The loan advertisement only mentioned the requirement of a government ID, proof of income, and a bank statement - all of which I provided. Nowhere did it explicitly mention the intention to run a credit check.

Despite granting them access to my bank account, showing over $8,000 in deposits for three consecutive months, and supplying paystubs from my job, they rejected the application. My cleaning business income, received in cash or via Zelle, was visible to them. However, they insisted on seeing check deposits on payday, ignoring the fact that I may have used the funds for other purposes. Their motives for collecting such extensive information remain dubious and questionable. Unscrupulous practices at play!

This place is undoubtedly a scam, and I urge others to steer clear to avoid falling victim to their exploitative practices. A stark warning against engaging with Check City for any financial transactions.

They even showed up at my apartment and served papers to someone else who lives here, not me (not the borrower). There was no signature or anything, and now they’re asking for 25% more than my child support. Be cautious; they will pressure you to get their way and show no concern for you or your family's health.
