I asked if I could pay extra for a bag and they said no.. (that was a lie) I ended up paying 2x the amount for a flight with a different carrier. I was told I would not get my initial payment back ($250). Thus, I felt pressured and bullied to go ahead and book what they were offering because otherwise I would be out $250 and still need to get airfare. I let Mary know that I would be filing a complaint with the BBB as this was a bait and switch scam. This is after I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told no. I was told I could only speak with Mary. I went ahead and filed the complaint with the BBB. I got a call this AM. They screamed at me for filing the complaint. They told me they would cancel my flight if I did not take my complaint back. I told them that the complaint was valid and they are not ethical. She yelled at me that they are cancelling my flight and I would not get a refund then hung up. This is completely unethical and feels illegal. They lied. They pressured and bullied me into booking the flight. They should not be allowed to be in business.

Surprise, surprise – my return tickets are suddenly standby, and they want an extra $1800 for confirmed ones. Tried to cancel, but nope, apparently, it's non-refundable. Went to my credit card company to stop the payment, but they said it had to post first. When I demanded to speak to a supervisor at Travelo1, they shuffled us to another airline with a fare close to what we could've gotten elsewhere. Lost our frequent flyer miles, gotta pay extra for luggage, and can't fly with our extended family. Total travel nightmare!

Similar to others, they had one price advertised on their website and allows you to purchase the ticket, then they call you late at night saying the return flight is not available, you can’t have even a 1kg personal item, and you have to pay a lot extra. When you try to cancel, they argue with you and say you can’t it’s non-refundable. Do not recommend. Two days later and still don’t have the airfare tickets that I supposedly bought-been no charge as of yet 2-days later. Will certainly file a dispute with the card if a charge ever comes through. I had an unauthorized attempt to change my password on my email that night as well and makes me wonder if clicking on their authorization button had anything to do with it. In any case, steer clear.

We called on Friday, and within an hour, we had tickets for almost half the price compared to the united airlines website. Since this was a last-minute family emergency, we were anxious and just wanted to reach our destination as soon as possible. We’re leaving on Monday morning with seats and checked bags all set, thanks to Zack. I value his time, understanding, and patiance (from a once hesitant buyer) after calling him back around 20 times for updates and every question that popped into my head. We’ll be contacting Zach for our future trips and wish him well.

I cannot believe they are still getting away with these tactics. My experience is the same for all of these other 1 star reviews. I agreed to pay for business class for international flight which they charged me for their advertised rate. Low and behold I have economy tickets for 3 legs and premium for one. No business class. I got the same $3700 charge as one of the other reviewers. I will keep on this until someone puts a stop to. We can all report to Federal Trade Commission, Better Business Bureau, their state Dept in NJ and your own state. Don’t let them continue these deceptive practices.!

I chose to email customer service, no answer. I call, get someone else who I can barely understand due to thick accent. She says the flight didn't go through and now it's a standby flight. Of course, if I want to pay $700 more, they can get me a flight. I said I wanted to cancel and a refund. She told me to take it up with the bank and hung up on me! He explained everything clearly, worked with me, and kept in touch all day until everything was sorted out and everyone had their tickets.
