Power Homeschool is awesome!

Power Homeschool is awesome! My 6th grade daughter was struggling in public school. She didn’t have a solid grasp of math, and the teachers weren’t giving her enough support to do well. Since starting, Acellus has pinpointed the areas she needed help with, added lessons to fill the gaps, and now she’s getting A’s and B’s in all 7 of her subjects!

This has been good. I move around a lot with the kids and this is easy to use. My kids have a hard time with focus and also dyslexcia, and this has helped them both improve in their studies.

My son was stuck when the pandemic

My son was stuck when the pandemic changed everything. He was in kindergarten then, but now he should be in 4th grade. We’ve been in 3rd grade for two years, and now he's learning at home. Power HomeSchool has made this possible. We both enjoy the program and the app, which gives great info for learning. He studies even outside of class time.

Power Homeschool is quite handy

Power Homeschool is quite handy, and it doesn't consume too much time in our homeschooling routine. I appreciate the range of classes available. I wish I could access the answer key as a parent to assist my kids when they're struggling. I know that Power Homeschool is simply a curriculum, but all the other curriculums I purchase offer an answer key for the parents.

The online instructors and the flexibility to schedule classes according to my student’s pace and time have been a great help since we had to remove her from regular school due to anxiety and health issues. As a teacher, I notice a few areas where I need to support her to ensure she stays on track with her twin brother. This is a solid online choice, allowing me to maintain my job while she remains quite self-sufficient in her daily studies, helping to manage her anxiety. It may not suit everyone, but it works well for us.

The Corses are alright, but the program

The Corses are alright, but the program could use some improvements. When using the parent app on mobile, the pages appear too small, requiring excessive zooming. I've noticed some complaints about a "Tutoring Mode," although I've never encountered it myself. Additionally, there seems to be confusion between this platform and Acellus Academy, but they are distinct. In summary, the Corses are satisfactory, but the system feels outdated and requires updating.

Power Homeschool changed our homeschooling experience from being filled with frustration and anger to trust and appreciation. My children used to be so frustrated with me in teaching, and now everything is so clear and understandable. I love that I have so much less pressure on my shoulders to prepare and track everything.
