Liars and privacy overriders

I would NEVER give another penny through them. They hijack your phone number for fundraising and you never get rid of them no matter how many times you block them and report them as spam or reply STOP. And often, they will text you saying they are NOT asking for money, but it is a lie because inevitably you are sent to their fundraising site and asked for a donation. These lawmakers who purport to care about individual privacy are the most egregious offenders of privacy. When they pass a law protecting your phone number from themselves, then I will believe they care about privacy. Politics is disgusting, and their fundraising tactics are a thousand times even more disgusting, esp. WinRed. My poor hubby who is a staunch Democrat gets the same fundraising crap because I once gave to WR. There is nothing I regret more for the time they have stolen from me dealing with their texts. If I could rate them zero I would. Or -100.

Unhappy with WinRed - don't donate any more

It used to be they would alert you if you had a recurring donation coming up and you could adjust if wanted (change or cancel). They no longer do that. They also do not even send a notice or thank-you when you do donate ... or when they take recurring payments (that you might not know you signed up for.) I don't always stay current on my bank statements and have had hundreds of dollars taken on recurring charges I did not sign up for! And, once they had my cell phone number, I got dozens of text messages every day, (up to 30 a day during election season) which are impossible to stop. I am really disappointed. I want to give to candidates I support, but do not trust them AT ALL! And, I have frequently checked how they distribute my donation and often found that the candidate I donated to got maybe 10% of the donation and the rest went to the party, or to WinRed. I think they are very dishonest!

They’re the common platform linking all these messages together and profiting from it. This kind of shady consent buried in legalese, followed by zero accountability, is the exact kind of thing that makes people distrust political giving platforms. If you’re thinking about donating through WinRed, be prepared to give up your peace and privacy.

Terrible organization

I quit giving anything to Winred years ago, but decided earlier this year to give to a particular candidate. I made a one time donation as I never give recurring donations. Perhaps I failed to uncheck the recurring box but I got charged again the following month. I tried to contact WinRed but could only do so by email. I have sent 4 messages to try and receive a refund and stop any recurring donations and wad told someone would contact me within 3 days. But has not happened. Now I will be forced to take this matter up with my CC company to solve this problem. I have checked my spam folder to make sure I didn't miss a message. I will Never make a donation through Winred again.

Somehow make donations recurring without being open to donors

So disgusted and annoyed that I fell for this a second time. Twice now I make one donation and a second one comes out the following month and says recurring donation. I was able to stop the recurring charge the first time and now I am attempting to stop this one. kIt takes time andd effort that I should not have to use. Why can't a donor make just one donation????? I'll never donate to anything that says winred again! I fully support the republicans and their platform but I feel like I was duped on this website/text messages. I will find other ways to support the candidates I choose to support. WINRED you ruined it!

NEVER give them your number

I've gotten up to 300 spam texts a week before the presidential election, and I'm STILL getting at least a dozen a day. Misses my daughters text when she went into labor because it was 50 messages down. Missed my sons message when he was hospitalized because of them. They won't give the public any way to make them stop giving your number out. I'm still getting at least 12 spam texts daily. All winged does is blame the individual entities they give my number to. I had to stop using my phone because of them. I'll never donate another CENT to them or anyone that got my number from them. BEWARE OF WINRED!!!

Auto deducts are criminal

Win red on two days alone took 107 then 57 deductions Along with endless withdrawals over the year from my veteran 80 year old brother in law suffering from PTSD Just moved in with us and found all his life savings taken And charges of over $70,000 now due on his cards Simply criminal -this represents the Republican Party -they have a serious fraudulent policy that is egregious and needs to be stopped -legally -will pursue consumer fraud to ends of the earth Don’t use them!! Scam on duplicate charges

I wanted to contribute to the Trump campaign to help support Donald Trump with $100.00 donation. Some how it ened up being $ 104.10 for $100.00 donation. 3 times and a change for $10.41 When I tried to contact them I got a automated phone system that said only 1 reoccurring charge can be reimbursed. My bank BofA got the rest of my money back. I will never donate to a political party again. I feel as though I was scammed. Don't use this web site. Very deceptive.

If you don’t donate, they don’t care how you feel!

Unless you are wealthy, just delete this website when it pops up. I am retired & live on a very limited income. I get at least half a dozen of these questionnaires EVERY DAY, and if you can’t give them money, they don’t accept your answers and the questionnaire goes nowhere. So I just delete them. The next day, it starts all over again. They obviously don’t care about what you think, they just want your money! I don’t even open them anymore…I just delete them.

Spam list forever

I would like to give negative stars. After giving donation to a candidate through Win Red, I get dozens of daily texts associated with Win Red. I reply "stop" to opt out, receive the reply "you are unsubscribed", and the texts keep coming. Trust abused, I, my spouse, my family, my friends, my church, will NEVER give again. Win Red will be solely responsible for small donors opting out the mid terms.

Scam

I donated to this site 3-4 times during the campaign cycle for 2025 Presidential election. I punch donate once that was a joke they have charged me the first of every month since. It is impossible to cancel I have tried several times. Now I have to cancel my card for a new one. Don't fall for their lies. This is a scam web site. It's places like this one that give them all a bad name.

Criminal, deceptive, bordering on terrorist

Have you ever tried to answer a survey distributed by Winred? You can’t unless you make a donation… in other words, your opinion means squat unless you donate. I support and have supported the Republican cause in the past but not through the scumbags at Winred. Donate at your own risk, but PLEASE red their reviews first.

Impossible to reach anyone for help.

I tried for over three weeks to get help in regard to fraudulent activity. For weeks I must have tried over twenty times but had to deal with an AI generated CS that went around in circles and denying my request to talk to a live person. I will never use this sight again . Buyer beware

Obnoxious

Donate to a single campaign and expect to get endless texts from multiple phone numbers every day thereafter. These people are obnoxious and will not stop spamming my phone. Take a look at some of their reviews and everyone seems to have the same complaints. Again, obnoxious.

I placed an order on July 19th

I placed an order on July 19th, and my item is still not here. I haven’t gotten any updates or replies to my emails. This makes it tempting to look for counterfeit MAGA gear. It makes me wonder if WinRed is being run by people who don’t want us to get what we ordered.

Scam

I signed up for a one time donation. 6 months later I THOUGHT I got it canceled only to find yet another charge. I filed a fraud charge through my bank but now my card is cancelled. I’m sure many of you know what a pain that is. What a scam! I wish I had researched this.

no attention

send an text message to cancel the amount charged to my visa a month ago. Just received my new visa bill, and alas they did not cancel as I asked. Having my bank delete this charge and I will never again donate to a Republican organization.

They are terrible spammers!

They are terrible spammers! Unsubscribing is impossible (I have tried over 100 times) since they just change the phone number. I receive 10 to 20 texts daily from them, and I am thinking about taking legal action!

They share your information

Like many others here, I've made contributions to candidates. So, sad that I will not ever make a donation again. I'm now getting 40+ texts a day. It's complete B**.

Too many text messages

The election was six months ago, but after donating via Winred I still get 50 text messages per day. It’s beyond annoying.

Harassment

Winred sends your contact information to 100's of campaigns. Do not send them money or information. These people are sick.
